ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN: 1 John 5:17(a)

Well, you’re on campus to gain the education that will benefit your future.
Our fellowship, The Lord’s Chosen, is here to give you the divine Word of God, a truth that will not just benefit your future or even your present time, but will bring you eternal life.

As Jesus said: “Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.” Luke 18:29-30

And the best part is, this wisdom, this knowledge we have for you, is freely given, because freely we have received, and freely we give. Matthew 10:8

ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IS SIN: 1 John 5:17(a)

If you are not a born-again or maybe you are a compromiser or backslider, you must do something as a matter of urgency.

“He that commits sin is of the devil.” 1 John 3:8

If you are into lying, cheating, bittiness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarrelling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, speaking evil of others, taking or giving bribes, selfishness, deception, kidnapping, smuggling, falsification of documents and other sinful character dispositions, you must repent.

Such evil and wicked character will hinder the manifestation of abundant blessings upon your life. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution (private or public), patronizing the prostitutes, abortion, lesbianism, homosexualism (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), or any form of immorality, you need to repent.

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

Whatever the area of your sin, you must repent and make amends. Are you into idolatry, do you make use of charms, rituals, bow down to images, rob or steal? Are you into cultism, whether open or secret cult? Do you practice witchcraft? Do you smoke cigarettes, weed, vape or hemp? Do you sell them or offer them to people? Do you smoke or sniff hard drugs such as cocaine, heroin, captain black, hashish or other banned drugs? Are you lusting after - lusting after men or women, covetous, alcohol drinking? You must repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.

Are you into the business of marriage and divorce? Are you married to more than one person? Repent! Marriage is for better or for worse until death separates ( Matthew 19:3-6). Wherefore that are no more two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together let no man put asunder (separates). Amend your ways and God will bless you.

Proverbs 28:13 says, “He that covers his sins shall not prosper, but whosoever confess and forsakes them shall have mercy.”

You must not therefore hide your sins. You must repent of them, confess and forsake them.

Are you into worldliness? Don’t you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?

James 4:4 states, “…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

If you truly want to follow Christ, you must turn away from the practices of the world, like bleaching your skin, painting your lips, eyes, nails, or body, wearing attachments, weaves, wigs, or earrings. You must stop adorning yourself with bangles or other jewelry, and perming or frying your hair.

Remember what Jacob did in Genesis 35:2-4 he told his household to put away the strange gods, purify themselves, and change their garments. They gave up their earrings and idols because they knew they could not approach God while holding on to the world’s ways.

Genesis 35:2-4 “Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments: And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.”

Are you one of those who put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) or perhaps you wear trousers as a woman?
Read Deuteronomy 22:5), that is abomination (Revelation 21:8,27).

Deutonomy 22:5 “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Revelation 21:27 “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.”

Therefore, make up your mind, repent, and give your life to Jesus Christ.

Are you spoilt?

Jeremiah 4:30 says, And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.”

A Christian is not a sinner, and a sinner is not a Christian.
If you must be a blessed child of God, you must repent of your sins and give your life to Jesus Christ. If you believe in Jesus Christ today, the righteousness of God will come into your life, and an abundant life will be your portion.

If you neglect this call to repentance and salvation, you will not escape hellfire (Hebrews 2:3).

In Luke 13:3, Jesus said, “I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent, Ye shall likewise perish.”

Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first eh kingdom of God and His righteouness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Peace, Joy, healing, deliverance, and all blessings will be your portion. You will make Heaven at Last as you continue in righteousness.

If you have decided now to give your life to Jesus Christ and to forsake your sinful lifestyle, you need to pray this prayer:

Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, I confess that I am a sinner.
All my sins I confess to you.
I am very sorry for all my sins (mention those you can remember).
Lord, I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification.
Almighty God, use the Blood of Jesus Christ to wash my sins away.
Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Saviour. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and write my name in the book og life.
Give me power to sin no more. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!!
